HIKE TO THE MAGNIFICENT HOLVIFOSSEN WATERFALL

What’s so extraordinary with this trip, is that it takes you from the town of Sandane by the fjord, and up in the mountains, through a forest housing viewpoints, open cabins, playgrounds, campsites and a viewing platform reaching out in the open air by a 80m high waterfall. The view of the fjord and the surrounding mountains can simply not be justified by words. The trails we’re hiking are built by hand, and the rocks in the stairs are placed by Sherpa’s from Nepal. On the way back down we’ll have a little break in “The resting place of dreams”, before we continue through “The Forest of Love” to the incredible area in and around TIN-camp. Back in the town of Sandane we turn around and look at the hillside we hiked, wondering how this forest can hide everything we just experienced.
